Forbes released the TOP wealthiest rappers list… It’s interesting to see who made the list and how two rappers are tied for the #5 spot. I remember when Baby from Cash Money made the following statement about Jay Z not being Number One because Wayne makes more money…

“I don’t think he the number one MC in No kind of way… Wayne the best, he do the most and he make the most money. I don’t think no n*gga in the business make more money than us. How could you be the best if you don’t make the best money, the most money and you don’t do the most”.. “who making the most money? that’s who’s number one to me, F*** all that rap shit, it’s about who’s making the most money to me, I don’t give a f*** about the rest of that shit, if you makin money that’s what matters to me.”

I don’t agree with Baby’s statement… If being the #1 rapper is truly based on who makes the most money… then he may wanna re-think that statement. Being the BEST MC has nothing to do with who makes more money it’s based on skill… BUT, if you agree with Baby and base who should have the #1 MC title based on money status… then I guess Diddy is the #1 rapper in Hip Hop. Forbes has spoken…

“When it comes to net worth, Jay-Z is number two. The top spot goes to Sean “Diddy” Combs, who tops our accounting of rap’s richest with a fortune of $475 million, fueled by his interests in Sean John clothing, Bad Boy Worldwide record label and, most significantly, his Diageo joint-venture vodka brand Ciroc. Jay-Z ranks a close second, with $450 million. Superproducer/rapper Dr. Dre ranks third with $125 million, fueled by past earnings generated from his own career and by helping to launch those of Snoop Dogg and Eminem. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, a onetime Dr. Dre protege who reaped a nine-figure payday from the sale of Vitamin Water to Coca-Cola, rounds out “the top five in a tie with Cash Money Records cofounder Bryan “Birdman” Williams at $100 million. (Forbes)

Sean Diddy Combs $475 Million
Jay Z $450 Million
Dr Dre $125 Million
50 Cent $100 Million
Baby (Cash Money) $100 Million

Sanny Santos is a close friend of mine with an amazing singing voice. She has a number of tracks recorded like her hit single Sanny Santos- I Want The.. She is definitely heading the right direction with her career and with great support backing her up. See the full story here.

Sanny Santos as a young child discovered a strong connection with music. With her Father being a musician and growing up around an environment that creatively supported music in its acoustic form, there is no doubt she would fall into the amazing explorations within music.

It all began in early 1993 when at the age of 5 dancing to the acoustic instrumental arrangements she began to explore herself vocally beyond imaginable. As the years past she strived to make herself better by testing herself vocally among both Spanish and English top sounding artists. Her passion for music within all genres was very strong.

With her mother being a faithful believer at the age of 11 Sanny joined the church choir. This opened up a new form of exploration publicly. She began writing and creating her own melodies. There would be nights she wouldn’t sleep because of new ideas that she felt had to be placed on paper.

Later at the age of 16 she was discovered by a Bachata group called Iluxion whom at the time were in the search for their next female group singer. Unfortunately the group fell apart months later. This did not stop the dream and hope of becoming a vocal artist.

She began researching and looking for producers studio time, working harder on her many talents, and now Sanny Santos is ready to take on what is yet to come in the Music Industry. Sanny Santos is not only a singer/song writer she also composes her own melodies.
